[Fwd: Accesar FireBird desde PHP en servidor linux]
Hola lista. He buscado información sobre como instalar el soporte de Firebird/Interbase en PHP y he encontrado algo de información pero estoy un poco confundido... Primero, según la instrucción de preparación de compilación: ./configure --with-apache=../httpd --with-interbase=/usr/interbase --with-config-file-path=/www/conf --enable-track-vars * respecto a "--with-apache=../httpd" ¿tengo tambien que compilar el Apache?, o ¿solamente con los fuentes para que se configure bien? * "--with-interbase=/usr/interbase" supongo qe se refiere al directorio donde esta el archivo "libgds.so", porque el "interbase.so" que se menciona en la documentación que he encontrado no existe. * "--with-config-file-path=/www/conf --enable-track-vars" ¿Para que son? Segundo, cuando ejecuto esa orden me aparece al final dos advertencias: * "You will be compiling the CGI version of PHP without any redirection checking. By putting this cgi binary somewhere in your web space, users may be able to circumvent existing .htaccess security by loading files directly through the parser." * "The default for register_globals is now OFF! If your application relies on register_globals being ON, you should explicitly set it to on in your php.ini file." Esto me deja la duda de si con esa instrucción quedaría un servidor inseguro, o que otras opciones serían necesarias mover para que quedara bien el modulo de php.
