Hola amig@s, He visto el hilo 'Como montar un YOU local?' y me ha entrado la curiosidad, se podrá 'montar un apt local?', yo todas las descargas que hace el apt las guardo en un directorio aparte, de esta forma si por desgracia tengo que reinstalar mi SuSE 'desde cero' no tengo que descargar todas las actualizaciones de nuevo; la pregunta es como se le podría indicar al apt que busque ciertas actualizaciones en un directorio local? Esto también serviría en caso de tener otros equipos en red que necesiten actualizaciones. El apt siempre se seguiría utilizando para las descargas de 'nuevas' actualizaciones que vienen de Internet. Evidentemente, si se puede. No tengo demasiado claro la forma práctica de hacerlo, pero básicamente se trata de generar un fichero índice -en el formato adecuado, claro- para que el cliente del apt sepa donde está cada cosa. (supongo que habrá que sacar tiempo para leernos la documentación del apt)

Como te decía antes, generando el fichero "indice" y añadiendo su ubicación en el /etc/apt/sources.list
Esto también serviría en caso de tener otros equipos en red que necesiten actualizaciones.
Ese es precisamente mi caso. Yo he hecho un mirror local de ftp.gwdg.de (la parte de SuSE 9.1, apt incluido), y lo actualizo cada noche vía rsync, pero de momento YaST sólo me reconoce algunos directorios (actualización de KDE), pero no otros (base). En los directorios de SuSE están los rpm's reales, mientras que en la mayor parte de los repositorios del apt solamente hay enlaces simbólicos a los directorios de SuSE, por eso decidí empezar a 'pelearme' con el YaST. Si descubro algo nuevo, os tendré al corriente. Saludos. Miquel.
