Me parece que tu problema esta en la configuracion de wine. ¿Ejecutaste la utilidad de configuracion 'winesetup', como te sugeri antes?

Si tienes una particion para windows en tu disco, la detectara automaticamente, pero es recomendable que escojas la opcion de no ocupar esta, y en su reemplazo crear un directorio de emulacion de windows en tu home. El asistente de configuracion de wine es bastante claro en esto, de modo que solo tienes que seguir sus pasos.

Sergio, aquí te mando lo que me pediste. La versión de SuSE que tengo instalada es la 9.2 y el paquete de wine lo he instalado hace un rato de la pagina de www.winehq.com, no es el que venia en la distribución, en teoría es mas nuevo. Tanto en la versión anterior de WINE como en esta al ejecutar winecfg (que a sugerido Carlos Robinson, gracias Carlos) el menú de configuración arranca pero yo no entiendo nada de lo que propone a parte de quedarse "colgado" a la mínima acción de cambiar algo. Alex; En primer lugar, yo no te habria recomendado instalar ningun paquete que no sean los que vienen en la distribucion, particularmente si llevas poco tiempo con Linux, pero ya que estamos en esto, vamos a ver que se hace...

Lo unico que veo extraño, y que yo cambiaría para probar el resultado, son estas lineas que te subrayo. Abre con un editor de textos cualquiera, puede ser vi, kate o kwrite el archivo de configuracion de wine, con el siguiente comando: kate .wine/config y editas la linea que te indico, reemplazandola por lo siguiente: "Path" = "/home/alex/.wine/fake_windows" y esta otra:
[Drive Y]
"Type" = "network"
"Path" = "${HOME}"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ por: "Path" = "%HOME%" A ver si solucionamos el problema, seguimos con el, o ahora tenemos otro... Como recomendacion, siempre que vayas a tocar un fichero de configuracion, crea antes una copia de respaldo del original, para restaurarla si algo sale mal. En primer lugar, yo no te habria recomendado instalar ningun paquete que no sean los que vienen en la distribucion, particularmente si llevas poco tiempo con Linux, pero ya que estamos en esto, vamos a ver que se hace...

Lo unico que veo extraño, y que yo cambiaría para probar el resultado, son estas lineas que te subrayo. Abre con un editor de textos cualquiera, puede ser vi, kate o kwrite el archivo de configuracion de wine, con el siguiente comando:
kate .wine/config
y editas la linea que te indico, reemplazandola por lo siguiente:
"Path" = "/home/alex/.wine/fake_windows"
y esta otra:
[Drive Y]
"Type" = "network"
"Path" = "${HOME}"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
por:
"Path" = "%HOME%"
A ver si solucionamos el problema, seguimos con el, o ahora tenemos otro...
Como recomendacion, siempre que vayas a tocar un fichero de configuracion, crea antes una copia de respaldo del original, para restaurarla si algo sale mal. En este caso, antes de hacer nada:
cp ./wine/config ./wine/config_bak

Alex; Me temo que el problema no es menor, y tiene que ver con esto: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2661 Tal vez vas a tener que optar por desinstalar la version de wine que te has descargado de su sitio oficial, y reinstalar la que trae SuSE 9.2 en forma predeterminada. -- Sergio Hernandez A. El wine que trae la suse no siempre tiene el winesetup. El 9.1 traía el "wine-20040213-41.i586.rpm" que si que lleva el winesetup. Sin embargo, la actualizacion (people/meissner/9.1/wine-20040505-0.1.i586.rpm, la última) no trae el winesetup, acabo de mirarlo (y tampoco estaban en las del 8.2 de este señor).
