Talvez a lo que se refieren es a una comprobación pequeña que hace el sistema cuando arranca de que todo este bien, si apagan la máquina cuando están trabajando el sistema ejecutara fsck durante mucho más tiempo. En cuanto a Reiser y Ext3 tinen una especie de archivo de respaldo que hacen
Ok ya te comprendo, ahora la pregunta es como me puedo pasar a Raiser si tener que instalar de nuevo todo. Gracias para poder recuperar la información si se apaga la máquina de forma no apropiada, corte de energía electríca por ej.,almenos eso es lo que tengo entendido. To tengo en SuSE 7.1 con Reiser tanto "/boot" como "/" y las veces que tuve que recetear por estar poniendo cosas no compatibles el sistema de rescate me funciono perfectamene, en cambio cuando solo tenía ext2 alguna vez tuve que entrar manualmente para reparar, cosa que no pude hacer dado que no se como trabaja con esa erramienta, fsck, apesar de haber leido el manual.
