Pongo (pero sigue igual): dhcppc3:/etc # resolveip 127.0.0.1 Host name of 127.0.0.1 is localhost dhcppc3:/etc # resolveip localhost IP address of localhost is 127.0.0.1 dhcppc3:/etc # rcmysql start Creating MySQL privilege database and starting MySQL... hostname: `Host' desconocido Neither host '' and 'localhost' could not be looked up with /usr/bin/resolveip Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname. If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with the --force option ¿alguna sugerencia? Carlos E. R. Escribe:

Tu ordenador no tiene nombre.
Esto tiene que funcionar:
cer@nimrodel:~> resolveip 127.0.0.1 Host name of 127.0.0.1 is localhost cer@nimrodel:~> resolveip localhost IP address of localhost is 127.0.0.1
Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname.
¿que ocurre? ¿que ficheros hay q configurar?
Pues te lo está diciendo... es el párrafo de arriba.
