Hi Michael, it is great to see how Novell takes care of the Spanish 'community', given this is a mailing list in _Spanish_ and you are reaching us by writting in English... I am wondering if Novell will be same carefull when releasing the oncomming SuSE releases. I am sorry for the rants... Yours faithfully, Miguel Calero On 8/10/05, Michael Loeffler <michl@suse.de> wrote:
Hi all,
Novell announced the creation of the openSUSE project, a new initiative sponsored by Novell aimed at promoting the adoption of Linux worldwide. Hosted at http://www.opensuse.org, the project provides free and easy access to the world's most usable Linux distribution, SUSE Linux.
The project also opens the development process for SUSE Linux by giving the open source community access to the review, testing and development of the SUSE Linux distribution. Community participation begins this week, with the first beta release of SUSE Linux 10.0. As a result, you and other community members around the world are able come to opensuse.org, download and install SUSE Linux 10.0 beta 1 to review and comment on the development build.
There is a lot more to come. To stay informed, please subscribe now to an openSUSE mailinglist at: http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Communicate
