mira con netstat -an | grep 5432, a ver si te sale algun proceso escuchando en ese puerto. También revisa que tengas esto en /tmp/ tmp # ls -ld .s.PGSQL.5432 srwxrwxrwx 1 postgres postgres 0 Mar 16 23:48 .s.PGSQL.5432
Si reviso el estado del servicio con:
rcpostgresql status --> me dice que el servicio se está ejecutando
y los logs me dicen:
2005-04-13 08:38:13 FATAL: user "root" does not exist
Que chungo que no exista root. ¿Con que usuario lanzas la postgres? a ver si los tiros van por ahi
Otra cosa que me pareció extraña es que aunque el servicio está "running", el resultado del comando "nmap -v localhost" lista los puertos abierto de los servicios que está trabajando y no aparece nada sobre el puerto del servicio de Postgresql, que supongo que es el 5432.
Desconozco el funcionamiento de los servicios de BDs como es Postgresql, así que cualquier ayuda se las voy a agredecer.
