Was für eine Programmiersprache für mein Projekt?
Hallo! Ich hab mir überlegt ein Webinterface für mein Script zu schreiben, weill die Config Datei doch recht groß und ünübersichtlich wird! Im Grunde muss ich auf dem Webinterface nur den Inhalt einer Datei auslesen und neu schreiben. In was für einer Sprache wird denn das normalerweise realisiert? Ich hatte mir so eine art Swat oder webmin vorgestellt, wobei es nie im Leben so complex sein wird, wie gesagt, ich will nur Strings aus einer Textdatei auslesen und wieder schreiben. Bin Über jeden Tipp/Beispiel Dankbar! Gruß Mario

php ist Dein Freund!
Perl geht natürlich auch :)) PHP ist aber IMHO im Web bei großen Projekten schneller, Perl spielt seine stärken auf der Konsole und in der Textverarbeitung aus. Wenn Du mod_perl & CGI.pm installiert hast, gibt's keine Unterschiede in der Geschwingkeit zu PHP. Eher wird Perl schneller, weil Du den Code schon compiliert vorhälst. Ich nehme nur Perl für solche Sachen, aber das ist Geschmackssache! Bei Deinem Vorhaben würde ich sogar perl/tk oder Perl/qt nehmen. Ciao Andre

Deine Frage ist natürlich recht allgemein gehalten weil Du nicht sagst wie weit dein Webserver auf dem das Script laufen soll bestückt ist. Der SSI Klassiker ist natürlich (zu recht) PHP. Könnte sein das das was Du vorhast in PHP am schnellsten geht - sofern es auf Deinem Server läuft/laufen soll. Dann gibt's noch die Scriptsprache Perl (Standard auf allen Unixen und immer gut zu gebrauchen). Ich persönlich würde jedoch die Eierlegende Wollmilchsau Python empfehlen. Leicht zu lernen, läuft überall, echt objektorientiert, skalierbar bis sonstwohin, von A bis Z GPLd (im Gegensatz zu z.B. Java) und wird interpretiert (wie Perl). Ist inzwischen Standard auf vielen Webservern und gilt als der Shooting Star unter den Programmiersprachen.
Hi, vor allem im Umgang mit Files gibt es in Python schöne elegante und flotte Lösungen, von daher denke ich Python ist wohl das ideale für Dich.
