sane + scsi + usb-scanner = Problem ?
hi, ich hab hier 2 Rechner mit SCSI und einen ohne (alle SuSE 7.3). An den SCSI-Rechnern bekomme ich weder einen Epson Perfection 1240 noch einen Epson Perfection 610 zum laufen. scanimage hängt sich immerauf. Ich habe die Konfigurationsdateien aus /etc/sane.d/ komplett auf meinen Laptop (ohne SCSI) übernommen und dort funktionieren beide Scanner auf Anhieb. Ich vermute nun das Problem beim SCSI, ich kann den Controller aber nicht ausbauen, da dort SCSI-Platten dranhängen wo das System drauf ist. Kennt jemand ähnliche Probleme? tschau fisch

Hallo Andre, hast du auch überall den gleichen Kernel installiert. Hab ähnlich Probleme (siehe Posting nach Kernelupdate ) nachdem ich mir den Kernel 2.4.16 von Suse runtergeladen hatte und installiert hab. Irgendwo hab ich gelesen das wohl die Kernel-Module für USB-Scanner fehlerhaft seien. Mit Kernel 2.4.10 klappte alles wieder (MUSTEK 1200 CU PLUS). MFG Patrick Klaus
