Hallo an Alle, In einer C't wurde das Programm cheops kurz vorgestellt, mit dem Hinweise bei einer bestimmten Library Version muss das MakeFile geaendert werden. Ich habe das Programm installiert und bekomme beim Starten folgenden Fehler "./cheops: error in loading shared libraries libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Die Datei liegt im Direktory /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libc.so.5 und hat die Permission755. Gibt es jamand mit dem gleichen Problem ? und hat den richtigen Tip ! Ich benutze Suse 6.0, und habe FAQ cheops gelesen, werden aber mit Versionen und ihren Fehler nicht ganz schlau. Nein, das Problem habe ich nicht, weil ich cheops nicht kenne, aber hast Du schon mit Žldconfig -vŽ (als root) nachgeschaut, ob die libc.so.5 dem loader bekannt ist? Falls die Datei in der Liste nicht auftaucht, fehlt vermutlich der Eintrag für /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib in der /etc/ld.so.conf. Danach nochmal ein ldconfig und es sollte funktionieren. Du kannst Dir übrigens mit Žldd ./cheopsŽ anzeigen lassen, welche shared libraries von dem Programm benutzt werden.
