Hello, Ich mochte SuSE 5.0 uber NFS zu installieren. Ich habe eine komplette mirror from ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/5.0 gemacht. Ich machte eine eide0 bootdisk. Yast zahlte die packages, 12XX, aber dann ich hatte eine fehler: "rpm: permission denied", und YaST ist kaput. (The same in English, as I speak that better...) I would like to install SuSE 5.0 over NFS. I made a full mirror of ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linus/suse/5.0, an eide0 bootdisk. When I got to the menupoint: choose/install packages, Yast counted them: about 12XX, but when it wrote, that "looking for previously installed packages", than after a few secs, ther was an error message: "rpm: permission denied", and aften another few secs YaST crashed. I wrote once an article about SuSE 4.4.1 in Hungarian, but the Hungarian CHIP delayd the Linux special issue. It's comming now in September, but 4.4.1 is a bit old, and I have to send the rewritten article this weekend.
