Hallo Liste, womöglich fasse ich das Problem falsch an. Hier die Fakten: Wir versuchen eine Website (www.hdi.de 195.243.117.21) zu erreichen. Fragen: Wie finde ich den zuständigen Admin zu dem Router? Meine Standardsuchen haben mich nicht weiter gebracht. Die Nummer scheint nicht vergeben zu sein??? Welche Ursachen können hier vorliegen? Also ich habe keine Probleme die Seite zu erreichen, sowohl per Ip wie als www-Alias
Fragen: Wie finde ich den zuständigen Admin zu dem Router?

Welche Ursachen können hier vorliegen?
Setzt Ihr einen Router ein? Was für ein Netzwerk habt Ihr?
Dementsprechend kann man ja vielleicht entgegenwirken. Bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar, Geht mir auch so ;-) Mal paar mehr Infos wären von Interesse. Welcher Browser wird eingestzt, etc.

Also wenn ich ein Traceroute auf diese Domain mache, bleibt er auch bei dieser IP hängen. Aber mit einem ganz anderen Resultat: 6 217.6.131.235 (217.6.131.235) 32.843 ms !X * 32.890 ms !X Die Website lässt sich aber von mir aus aufrufen. Vielleicht ist es ein Schutz vor irgendwelchen ICMP Attacken ? Ich habe eben ein traceroute gemacht, kam zum gleichen Ergebnis. Die Webseite jedoch konnte ich aufrufen. (In dem Fall mittels w3m, Proxy ist keiner eingestellt) Eventuell blockiert der Router auch nur das verfolgen der Route ?

Diese Mailinglisten-Mail, die Antworten darauf und die schlußendliche "Klarstellung", dass man jetzt auch selbst auf die nötigen Kontaktinfor- mationen gekommen sei, sind IMHO mal wieder ein wunderbares Beispiel für Halbwissen: Welche Bedeutung hat es für die Erreichbarkeit einer Web-Site, wenn *UDP*-Pakete blockiert werden!? Wenn ich heutzutage eine Firewall aufsetzte, kommt sowas wie UDP sowieso nurnoch sehr begrenzt durch. Mit echo request packets sieht das schon wieder anders aus. Mit "mtr" gibt es ein Tool, dass ein "traceroute" auf Basis von icmp realisiert. Aber auch solche Pakete werden nicht unbedingt durch- gelassen, sind also auch nicht aussagekräftig für die Frage, ob eine Web-Site erreichbar ist oder nicht. Von meinem Rechner aus ist auf jeden Fall die angegebene Web-Site erreichbar, wenn auch dem Anschein nach ausschließlich auch Port 80.
