upgrade 8.0 -> 9.0 : probleme mit cyradm/cyrus/postfix

Hallo liste, nach einem upgrade von SuSE 8.0 auf SuSE 9.0 habe ich folgendes problem (unter SuSE 8.0 liefen postfix/cyrus-imap/fetchmail ohne probleme) : fkaserver:/var/log # cyradm -u cyrus localhost IMAP Password: Login failed: no mechanism available at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1/i586-linux-thread-multi/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 118 cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with as cyrus fkaserver:/var/log # es spielt keine rolle ob das passwort richtig oder falsch ist, es kommt immer diese fehlermeldung. Die admins (cyrus/root) wurden mit saslpasswd2 eingetragen. Von meinen Windows clients kann ich auf die angelegten cyrus mailboxes zugreifen. Es erden aber keine neuen mails in Posteingang abgelegt. Der prozess saslauthd ist ebenfalls am laufen. was funktioniert ist der connect mit telnet : fkaserver:/etc/sysconfig # telnet localhost imap Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. * OK fkaserver Cyrus IMAP4 v2.1.15 server ready . logout * BYE LOGOUT received . Seit der 9.0 sind die Mechanismen in einzelnen Paketen. Schau mal ob plain überhaupt installiert ist.
sasl_pwcheck_method: pam
Das ist falsch. Statt pam gehört da saslauthd hin.

## Path: System/Security/SASL ## Type: list(getpwent,kerberos5,pam,rimap,shadow,ldap) ## Default: pam ## ServiceRestart: saslauthd # # Authentication mechanism to use by saslauthd. # See man 8 saslauthd for available mechanisms. # SASLAUTHD_AUTHMECH=pam
Und prüfen, ob der gestartet ist: # rcsaslauthd status Ansonsten ins Log schauen, Cyrus loggt nach /var/log/messages.
in /var/log/mail findet sich fuer postfix wiederholt folgendes :
May 3 22:00:04 fkaserver postfix/smtpd[1546]: fatal: net/mask pattern 192.168.1.0/8 has a non-null host portion; specify 192.0\ .0.0/8 if this is really what you want
Das dürfte dann wohl in Deiner Postfix-Konfiguration zu finden und zu beheben sein.... -- Andreas

Den User cyrus gibt es als Systemuser? Und das Passwort hast Du auch korrekt eingegeben? # passwd cyrus

mir ist nicht klar welche mailbox does not exist.
Die mailbox "root" existiert nicht im cyrus, was ja auch nicht ungewöhnlich sein sollte. -- Andreas
