Hallo, seit einiger Zeit habe ich bei einigen Mail-Servern Probleme meine mail abzuliefern. Daher mach ich nur noch sendmail -q -v. 1. Am Freitag 12.02.gegen 23:00 bekam ich vom Suse Mailserver die Meldung, dass seine qeue 3(mit vielen Nullen , 8 oder 9) gross sein, aber meine 3 mails, zusammen etwa 2k, akzeptieren und qeuen wuerde. Nur, diese mails sind nie in dieser Liste erschienen. 2. Seit einigen Tagen werden meine mails von einigen Mail-Servern nicht mehr akzeptiert, machmal mit der Argumentation bogus, manchmal ohne, insbesondere die Mail-Server mailin01.btx.dtag.de bis mailin07.btx.dtag.de verweigern die Annahme. Die Ursache kann ich mir denken, sie liegt moeglicherweise in einem anti-spam Filter. Meine firmeninterne Mail-Adresse lautet anders als die Adresse in der "from" Zeile, bei der Uebergabe von sendmail an den externen Mail-Server wird aber sowohl meine firmeninterne Mail-Adresse als auch die "from" Adresse uebermittelt, dies koennte als spamming interpretiert werden. chau mal in den logdateien des Mailer nach. Da steht vielleicht mehr.

Traditionell akzeptiert jeder Mail-Server von jedermann und gibt das dann an die Zieladresse weiter. Dieses Feature nennt man Relaying. Eine der ersten Anti-Spamming-Maßnahmen ist, das abzuschalten. Dann taucht in den Mail (sendmail, smail, qmail, ...) Logdateien typischerweise eine Meldung auf, die "Sorry, we do not relay" oder so ähnlich lautet, meist mit dem SMTP-Code 550. Schau mal nach. Wenn Relaying abgeschaltet ist, steht man normalerweise vor folgender Situation: die Mail-Server akzeptieren von außen (dem Internet) nur Mail, die in die eigene Domain adressiert ist oder aber nur Mail (mit beliebigem Ziel), das von innerhalb (also dem eigenen Netz) stammt. Ob die From-Informationen ausgewertet werden, weiß ich nicht, ich glaube aber nicht, daß sich der Aufwand lohnt, da das auch leicht gefälscht werden kann. Sollte es tatsächlich an den From-Feldern liegen, kannst Du sendmail dazu bringen, die Adressen umzuschreiben. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere brauchst Du dazu masquerade und virtuser. In meiner Situation, 2 ISP, beide ohne Relaying, ließ sich das letztlich nur sauber lösen, in dem ich mein smail so aufgebohrt habe, daß das Ding mit mehreren smarthosts umgehen kann. Das scheint mittlerweile auch stabil zu laufen.
