Asus P4P800, SuSE 10.2, und aus hda wird sda

Bis jetzt (ich lud nur das Modul piix in der initrd) wurde die latte als hda erkannt, war aber A.....langsam (irgendwas 5 MB/Sec. lt. hdparm). Komischerweise funktionierte auch die SATA-Platte. Nun habe ich, in der Hoffnung mal den vollen Speed aus der IDE zu bekommen, als Modul ata_piix geladen. Jetzt ist meine Platte nicht mehr hda sondern sda, wird also als SCSI-Device angesprochen (dachte das macht der Kernel nur bei SATA?) und ich kann die Platte nicht mehr mit hdparm tunen. SPeed ist zwar jetzt bei 55 MB/sec, da müsste aber noch mehr gehen. Kann mir mal jemand erklären wie ich es schaffe die IDE-Platte las hda und die SATA mit sda anzusprechen? Und zwar so das ich mit hdparm auch noch die Leistung aus der Platte kriege?
