Im YaST (frag' mich bloß nicht, wo) muss es die Einstellung geben: »Beim Booten des Systems Netzverbindung herstellen«. Da solltest Du einfach die passende Wahl treffen. (Das geht auch on demand, was aber bei Dir nicht zu funktionieren scheint).
Nein, das ist in Yast so eingestellt, dass die Verbindung beim Booten hergestellt werden soll.
