Meldung : Could not find /dev/sdb10 Want me to fall back to /dev/sdb10 (y/n) nach der Bestätigung mit y folgende Meldung: Waiting for device /dev/sdb10 to appear.......not found exiting to /bin/sh sh: no job controll in this shell Glücklicherweise kann ich mich einlogen über das booten von der DVD unter Einbindung des Treibers mit F6 (Floppy), dann -->weitere Optionen, ---> installiertes System booten. Was läuft falsch? Feb 1 20:31:42 linux modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.22.5-31-default/modules.dep: No such file or directory Mit meinem fundierten Achtelwissen bin ich hoffnungslos überfordert und brauche Sachkundige Hilfe.

Also musst du mkinitrd sagen, welche Module eingebunden werden sollen.
/etc/sysconfig/kernel: INITRD_MODULES="ata_piix aic7xxx sym53c8xx DAC960 processor thermal fan reiserfs edd piix"

Du greifst also nach Knoppix & Co - ooops, Mist. Zeitverschwendung?
