Hallo Ich weiß nicht, ob es schon länger so geht, jedenfalls ist mir beim Update auf kernel 2.6.4 aufgefallen. das so ziemlich beijeden Bootvorgang der Rechner beim einstellen des DMA hängt und dann eine Meldung in der Art kommt: <6>subfs 0.9 <4>hdb: ATAPI 40X CD-ROM CD-R/RW drive, 2048kB Cache <6>Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20 <4>hdc: ATAPI 48X DVD-ROM drive, 128kB Cache <4>hdc: set_drive_speed_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error } <4>hdc: set_drive_speed_status: error=0x20 <4>hdc: lost interrupt die hdc häng aber nicht an einen DMA 100 sondern einem normalen DMA Controller (K7S5A) manchmal wird auch hdb bemeckert. Einer ist jedenfalls fast immer mode. Hat jemand eine Idee was da los ist? Danke Frank

die hdc häng aber nicht an einen DMA 100 sondern einem normalen DMA Controller (K7S5A) manchmal wird auch hdb bemeckert. Einer ist jedenfalls fast immer mode. Hat jemand eine Idee was da los ist? Ich hatte ähnliche Probleme, wenn ich die Festplatten auf optimale Geschwindigkeit in /etc/init.d/boot.local optimiert hatte. Da blieb er beim booten,auch immer bis zum timeout an irgend einer Festplatte stehen, bis er weiter machte. Mit einem neuen mantel-kernel 2.6.5-xx.x verschwanden diese Probleme.
