Question / building latest texlive distribution
Dear listmembers, I have tried to build texlive on a system based on an upgraded 10.3 distribution (x86-64, 10.3->11.0) and on a regular 11.0 distribution system(x86-64), sources stem from repository / Publishing. On the regular 11.0 everything works as expected. However, on the upgraded system libtool as distributed with texlive gets in trouble with the include-paths for the libraries. For some strange reason the library - path in the libtool-file: # Compile-time system search path for libraries sys_lib_search_path_spec="/lib /usr/lib /usr/local/lib" # Run-time system search path for libraries sys_lib_dlsearch_path_spec="/lib /usr/lib" start with /lib and /usr/lib, thereby causing libpng 32 Bit being used instead of libpng 64 Bit. If I change this manually everything works ok, but this cannot be the way it should be. Anyone having an idea why this would / could happen? I have been looking intoo /etc/ld.so.conf, but this file looks good, the /usr/lib entry is prepended by the /usr/lib64 entry and so on and so forth, libtool has the appropriate version, so does autoconf and automake. Should I open a bug report? I guess the error has been caused by the update but I have no clue where to search for the issue! Thank you for looking into this, take care Dieter Jurzitza -- Um die Liste abzubestellen, schicken Sie eine Mail an: opensuse-de+unsubscribe@opensuse.org Um eine Liste aller verfuegbaren Kommandos zu bekommen, schicken Sie eine Mail an: opensuse-de+help@opensuse.org
