Hallo liebe Gemeinde, ich habe mir skype auf meinem Notebook unter SL9.0 installiert und es läuft super. Gestern abend habe ich es auch auf einem Desktop installiert. Zuerst lief es einwandfrei unter einem User. Erst als ich einen zweiten User hinzugefügt habe, schmiert mir das Programm jetzt auch beim ersten User vollständig ab. ps -ax zeigt mir an: skype [defunct] Ich kann dann nur noch ein killall skype machen. Habe dann skype deinstalliert und mit yast neu installiert. Jetzt läuft das Programm garnicht mehr und zeigt wieder [defunct] an. Auf dem Desktop habe ich auch SL9.0 mit kernel 2.4.21-266 wie auf dem Notebook. Warum läuft es da und nicht auf dem Desktop? /var/log/messages sagt nichts aus! Auch keine sonstigen Hinweise. Ich habe es auch versucht, mit sux und kdesu auf der Konsole. Danach war der Rechner komplett blockiert und es half nur noch ein Hardware Reset. Skype gibt auch keine Fehlermeldung aus. Gruss Bernd
