Halle Rene, ganz einfach du emulierst deinen Brenner unter Linux als SCSI-Brenner mit der ide-scsi Option. Gehst dann unter VMWARE SETTINGS auf SCSI DEVICES klickst CDROM (RAW-ACCESS) unter DEVICE TYPE an. trägst das Linux Device ein. In meinem Fall /dev/scd0 das wars auch schon. Leider unterstützen nicht alle Laufwerke den RAW-ACCESS Moduls. Einfach ausprobieren. Alles Klar ? MFG Patrick Klaus

es geht bestimmt auch ohne scsi-emulation dann musst du eben statt /dev/scdX , /dev/hdX eingeben. Probieren geht über studieren ;-)
