Mit "netstat -lpn" kann man das überprüfen. Wahrscheinlich sitzt der inetd noch auf diesem Port. Mal in der /etc/inetd.conf nachgucken und dann den inetd neustarten. MfG Jan-Hendrik Benter

Willst Du den ftp über den inetd starten oder einen "standalone" Server starten? So wie Du es oben angehst wäre es richtig, die ftp Einträge in /etc/inetd zu kommentieren, ein killall -HUP inetd zu machen und in der /etc/proftpd.conf ServerType standalone zu setzen. -- Gruß Alex -- "Guten Tag.
