Problem mit Programmstart aus Kontrolleiste
Manchmal passiert es, dass ich einige Programme nicht aus der Kontrolleiste starten kann - es passiert einfach nichts, obwohl die Platte schrubbt! Meistens passiert dies bei kmail - wenn ich jedoch in der console "kmail &" eintippe klappt's! Ist das ein Problem mit KDE 2.2.2? -- Jochen

Ich versteh nur nicht, warum es manchmal geht und manchmal eben nicht!
Ich würde jetzt erstmal ganz naßforsch den "Ausführen"-Eintrag ersetzen durch /opt/kde2/bin/kmail -caption "%c" %i %m um sicherzugehen, daß das selbe Programm aufgerufen wird. Was sagt denn tailf /var/log/messages beim (Fehl-)Start? Gruß, Ratti

Den Effekt kenne ich. Er ist immer dann aufgetreten, wenn ich X und den Rechner heruntergefahren habe, bevor KMail alle seine Aufräumarbeiten erledigt hatte. Fällt ja bei vielen Mails über den Tag hinweg doch einiges an. Wenn er durch das Herunterfahren in dieser Arbeit unterbrochen wurde, fuhr beim nächsten Mail (Autostart) nicht mehr hoch und benötigte eine Extra-Einladung. Seither achte ich eben drauf, daß KMail erst aufräumt und ich mich dann erst vom Rechner verabschiede (Lasse einfach kpm nebenher laufen, da sieht man es deutlich).
