Öffne Deine menu.lst mit $EDITOR_DEINER_WAHL und entferne den mittleren (von mir kenntlich gemachten) Teil. Dann klappts auch wieder mit dem booten...

Wer Cutting Edge Software wie SUSE 10.1-beta oder -RC einsetzt, sollte mit Problemen rechnen (dafuer sind ja die Testversionen da) und umgehen koennen ;-) Die finale Version von 10.1 wird den Defekt uebrigens nicht mehr haben. Cheers, Th.

In obiger Datei steht aber: color white/blue black/light-gray Worauf ich hinaus will: Änderst du die falsche Datei? Sie muss unter /boot/grub/menu.lst liegen! Ist hda6 deine Root-Partition? Noeh, ich habe mal ein Kontext-Diff angehaengt (und die entsprechend geaenderte Datei), damit sollte es dann wirklich funktionieren. Wenn's dann immer noch Probleme gibt, wohin hast Du grub installiert? In den MBR, also nach (hd0)? Schick' dann auch mal die Datei /etc/grub.conf .

Also ist Grub im MBR installiert. Damit wir nochmal sauber von vorne starten, kannst Du mal Folgendes als root ausfuehren? # cp -p /usr/lib/grub/*stage1* /usr/lib/grub/stage2 /boot/grub # grub < /etc/grub.conf > /tmp/grub.log 2>&1 Den Output von /tmp/grub.log solltest Du dann mal posten (falls es nach der Neu-Installation von grub immer noch nicht geht...). Poste doch mal Deine jetzige menu.lst. Eigentlich sollte es doch jetzt klappen - ich glaube nicht, dass der Bug da noch was mit zu tun hat. Gruss Mario

Öffne Deine menu.lst mit $EDITOR_DEINER_WAHL und entferne den mittleren (von mir kenntlich gemachten) Teil. Dann klappts auch wieder mit dem booten...

HAbe ich gemacht. Trotdem bootete bei mir nur XP. Sehe ganz kurz grub und dann läd er anschein XP. Wenn ich beim runterfahren Linux vorwähle genau das selbe . Scheiß bug. Weis nicht weiter.

Klappt bisher alles nicht.
