Hallo Liste, ich würde gerne meine Mails, die ich bislang mit Sylpheed verwaltet habe in Kmail importieren. Das klappt auch soweit wunderbar nur mit dem "kleinen" Haken, dass jede einzelne Mail in einem separatem Ordner mit der Prefix MBOX- abgelegt wird. Das wäre nicht so schlimm, wenn Kmail die Nachrichten vernünftig filtern könnte. Kann es aber nicht, da nicht mehrere Ordner zum filtern ausgewählt werden können. So bleibt mir momentan nichts anderes übrig als jedes mal in den Ordner zu gehen und die Mail quasi in einen von mir erstellten Ordner manuell zu verschieben. Das ist mehr als unbefriedigend und ich zweifle bereits ob ein Umstieg von Sylpheed zu Kmail überhaupt so sinnvoll ist. Was mich auch noch stuzig macht ist die Tatsache, dass sowohl Sylpheed als auch Kmail das Mbox Format beherrschen und sich eigentlich den Ordner unter /home/user/Mail teilen. Deine Beschreibung hört sich so an, als ob Du - den KMail-Importfilter für mbox verwendest - Deine Mails als Maildir vorliegen, nicht als mbox Ob Du Maildir oder mbox hast, lässt sich recht leicht überprüfen: Öffne eine Mailbox mit einem Editor - wenn in einer Datei mehrere Mails stehen, hast Du tatsächlich das mbox-Format und der KMail-Importfilter spinnt. Macht in diesem Fall aber nichts, Du kannst diese Dateien direkt unter ~/Mail ablegen (KMail vorher beenden). Falls dagegen pro Mail eine Datei verwendet wird, arbeitest Du mit dem Maildir-Format. Schau mal auf der KMail-Homepage nach, da gab es vor einiger Zeit mal ein Script, um Maildir zu mbox zu konvertieren, das liegt bestimmt noch dort. Allerdings war der Name IIRC nicht ganz deutlich, es tarnt sich als irgendein Importfilter... Ansonsten könntest Du immer noch per grepmail alle MBOX-* in eine Datei zusammenpacken: grepmail "." ~/Mail/MBOX-* > alle_zusammen Gruß Christian Boltz --
