SCSI-Brenner funktioniert nicht unter SuSE 9.2
Hallo zusammen, ich habe kürzlich SuSE 9.2 installiert. Leider ist es mir noch nicht gelungen, meinen SCSI-Brenner zum Laufen zu bringen. Hier sind ein paar System-Informationen. Mir scheint es fast so als würde das am Kernel 2.6.8-xx liegen. Siehe auch den anderen Thread : SuSE 9.2: CD-Brennen mit SCSI-Brenner geht nicht mehr. Habe bis jetzt keine Lösung gefunden. Also, als root kann man brennen, wenn eine CD eingelegt ist. Als user allerdings nicht - jedenfalls nicht bei mir. Ja habe ich auch gerade entdeckt. So wie es bei mir ausschaut wird der Brenner wahrscheinlich noch von root beschlagnahmt. Das wahr früher auch schon so, muß den Rechner erst mal neu starten und sehen ob es dann als user geht. Nicht starten oder ausschalten, wenn ich brennen will. Mich nervt das Teil allemal, daher läuft es nie. Heiner

Wie sieht die bei dir aus? "scsi" habe ich aufgrund eines älteren Tips in dieser Mailingliste eingefügt. Meinst du wegen dem "Removable CD-ROM"? Das ist IMHO immer so: Alle Brenner identifizieren sich als "CD-ROM".
