Hallo ich habe in einem unserer Linux-Server eine Sedlbauer SpeedFax+ PCI Karte eingebaut und hylafax installiert/konfiguriert. Nun wollte ich via sendfax ein Fax raussenden. Dieses meldet mir jedoch, dass die Karte kein FaxClass 2.0 untersützt. Tut sie auch nicht. Aber wie kann ich sendfax dazu überreden, FaxClass 1 zu nutzen ? IIRC ist das eine Option, die Du in /var/spool/(hyla)fax/etc/config.<DeinDevice> einstellen kannst. -- - maik

Hallo, wenn ich mich nicht sehr täusche, hast du auch faxsetup benutzt. Da kommt auch die Frage: Command to enter Class (oder so ähnlich). Im Verzeichnis /var/spool/fax/etc ist eine Datei namens config.modem, da müsste der Befehl drinstehen. cu Peter PS: Beim Googlen fand ich mal eine Beschreibung für genau deinen Fall; Suchwörter waren hylafax und "Locale identification" - ich glaub, es war von der LinuxUser-Redaktion! -- Hebt man den Blick, so sieht man keine Grenzen. aus Japan

Hm, in der hylafax-Config steht der Class1 Eintrag drin. Hylfax selbst erkennt beim faxsetup auch, dass das Modem nur FClass1 kann. Aber sendfax scheint damit Probleme zu haben. Denke auch, dass sendfax gar nicht auf die hylafax-Config zugreift, sondern nur auf die sendfax.conf. Da steht aber drin, dass der Modem-Type FClass=1 ist. -- SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN Jens
