Hi Folks, So, es ist vollbracht: Habe mir einen uralten 1542B (von Ž88, war damals schweineteuer) besorgt, Kernel gebastelt, link von /dev/scanner auf /dev/sga gesetzt, Scanner angeklemmt, System hochgefahren und gefreut. Adapter und Scanner melden sich brav und cat /proc/scsi/scsi meldet: ------------------------------------------- Attached devices: Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 ID: 06 LUN: 00 Vendor: SCANNER Model: Rev: V100 Type: Scanner ANSI-SCSI-revison: 01 CCS ------------------------------------------ So weit, so gut. Nur scanimage oder xscanimage wollen den Scanner nicht aktzeptieren und melden nur die beiden Pseudodevices pnm0 & pnm1. Auch der Schalter -L lässt keine weiteren devices erkennen. Version ist 0.73, lt. sane sollte der Scanner damit laufen. Nein! sga ist nur ein Alias, sga selber zeigt auf das eigentliche Scanner-Device sg0, sg1, ... . /dev/scanner ist ein zusätzliches Alias und soll auch auf sg0, sg1, ... zeigen. Welche SCSI-ID hat Dein Scanner (Annahme: 5) Hast Du eine FP ? (Annahme ja 2 Stück, ID 0 und 1) Hast Du einen Brenner ? (Annahme ja einer , mit ID 6) Dann ist Dein Scanner auf sg2 zu finden, weil das 3 Gerät in der Reihenfolge der IDŽs, der Brenner ist vermutlich scd3 , okay ? Gruss Ekkard P.S. benutze sane 1.0.1 ! Sorry, ich muss mich an dieser Stelle berichtigen !! Das mit dem scdx stimmt scheinbar NICHT !! Ich habe etwas zuweit hochgerechnet ... Da mit dem sgx stimmt aber. Die sgŽs ändern sich wenn Festplatten mit kleinerer ID an den Bus gehängt werden. FRAGE: ====== ? Weiss jemand warum die sgŽs von den sdŽs beeinflußt werden, die scdŽs (gemäß einer PM die ich bekommen habe) aber nicht ? - Und zwar jeweils dann wenn Festplatten mit kleinerer ID in den Bus gehängt werden.
