Hallo zusammen! Ich habe bei mir zu Hause ein kleines Netzwerk eingerichtet und bin nun mit folgendem Problem konfrontiert. Von Rechner A (direkter ADSL - Anschluss) kann mittels Evolution auf den POP Mail Server von mail.gmx.net ohne Probleme zugegriffen werden. Vom Rechner B (client mit ethernet verbindung zu A) geht das nicht. Warum weiss ich nicht und eine Fehlermeldung gibt Evolution auch nicht aus. Jedenfalls wird das E Mail Account anschliessend wieder für 24h gesperrt. Wie gesat von Rechner A geht es problemlos. Kann es sein, dass iptables irgend welche Packete rausfiltert? Für jeden Tip bin ich dankbar. Grüsse Nick Anbei der Output von ifconfig auf Rechner A (eth0 auf Rechner B ist analog zu eth1 von A) - weiss nicht ob das nützlich ist? # ifconfig eth0 Protokoll:Ethernet Hardware Adresse 00:01:02:87:80:2E inet6 Adresse: fe80::201:2ff:fe87:802e/10 Gültigkeitsbereich:Verbindung UP BROADCAST NOTRAILERS RUNNING MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:2847 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:3595 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:100 RX bytes:1884657 (1.7 Mb) TX bytes:427404 (417.3 Kb) Interrupt:5 Basisadresse:0xa000 eth1 Protokoll:Ethernet Hardware Adresse 00:01:02:96:ED:08 inet Adresse:192.168.100.20 Bcast:192.168.100.255 Maske:255.255.255.0 inet6 Adresse: fe80::201:2ff:fe96:ed08/10 Gültigkeitsbereich:Verbindung UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:82 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:48 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:100 RX bytes:7619 (7.4 Kb) TX bytes:4963 (4.8 Kb) Interrupt:5 Basisadresse:0x9400 lo Protokoll:Lokale Schleife inet Adresse:127.0.0.1 Maske:255.0.0.0 inet6 Adresse: ::1/128 Gültigkeitsbereich:Maschine UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:123 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:123 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:0 RX bytes:9936 (9.7 Kb) TX bytes:9936 (9.7 Kb) ppp0 Protokoll:Punkt-zu-Punkt Verbindung inet Adresse:195.186.205.235 P-z-P:195.186.148.1 Maske:255.255.255.255 UP PUNKTZUPUNKT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1492 Metric:1 RX packets:2749 errors:2845 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:3473 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:3 RX bytes:1818200 (1.7 Mb) TX bytes:332412 (324.6 Kb)

Kommst Du mit Rechner B ins WWW; geht ping,... ? Kann es sein, dass iptables irgend welche Packete rausfiltert? s.o. [...]
