Und jetzt hab ich in der lilo.conf die ramdisk an der stelle eingeragen wo auch der kernel eintrag steht so wie das in der suse support datenbank steht und jetzt kommt na dem grafischen lilo beim booten gar nichts mehr - blank screen?! mfg alexander

ich setzte mal vorraus das du lilo auch aufgerufen hast vor dem bootversuch!?!

hier stimmt was nicht, an dem Kern hat jemand rumgefummelt, bei einer installation durch den yast einer 7.2 liegt dort ein Kern mit exact dieser Grösse aber mit einem Zeitstempel der mit der System.map identisch ist. zumindest /etwas/ komisch.

wer hat die denn dahin gelegt? die liegen normalerweise im /lib/modules/VERSION/... da holt sie der mk_initrd raus und packt sie in die /boot/initrd so, und du schreibst in der anderen mail das der lilo jetzt zu funktionieren scheint? dann muss auch das booten gehen, nimm doch mal spasseshalber das lba32 raus und teste nochmal, ich könnt mir vorstellen das es mit scsi bei manchen controllern ein problem geben könnte. Und die fehlermeldung des kerns beim booten ist immernoch dieselbe? -- MfG. Falk
