SuSE 7.2 - Module werden nicht geladen
Hallo Leute, nachdem ich mir das neue SuSE 7.2 zugelegt und mir einen eigenen Kernel gebaut habe, musste ich feststellen, dass beim Neustart keine Module für die Netzwerkkarten und für den SCSI-Controller geladen werden. Den "loadable module support" nebst kmod habe ich eingeschaltet. Sobald die entsprechenden Optionen für Netzwerk- und SCSI- Karten fest in den Kernel eingebunden werden, funktioniert das ganze. Die Kernel-Dokumentation zum Thema kmod war leider auch nicht sehr hilfreich. Hat vielleicht schon jemand dieselbe Erfahrung gemacht? Habe ich etwas übersehen? Hat jemand eine Idee? Thomas Duennemann
Hallo Thomas, lad Dir mal von www.kernel.org die neuen Modutils runter, dann sollte das gehen und installiere die mit "rpm -Uvh --force modutils.bla.rpm", danach mach nen "depmod -a kernelversion" (beispielsweise depmod -a 2.4.5). gruß sebastian
