Das heißt eigentlich, daß ein bestimmtes Argument (hier: Dateiname) vom betreffenden Dateisystem nicht unterstützt wird. Ich nehme genau wie Thorsten an, daß da wohl ein auf VFAT ungültiges Zeichen im Dateinamen ist.
Den Speicherplatz der windows-Partition habe ich schon überprüft.
In dem Fall hätte es auch eine andere Fehlermeldung geben sollen.
Schau doch mal, ob die Datei nicht evtl. doch angelegt wurde. Beim Kopieren auf FAT32 kann es Fehlermeldungen geben, weil das Dateisystem ja nicht alle Dateiattribute kennt, die es unter Unix gibt.
Richtig, allerdings wäre das dann ein "Operation not permitted" bzw. "Die Operation ist nicht erlaubt" (nicht zu verwechseln mit "permission denied" bzw. "Keine Berechtigung"). Diese Fehlermeldung beim Versuch, auf FAT-Dateisystemen Zugriffsrechte zu ändern, läßt sich übrigens mit der mount-Option quiet unterdrücken.
