modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-8 ?!?

      Hi everybody,
when I am starting Yast (version 0.997.3) on a SuSE-6.1 system, Kernel
2.2.7 I allways get the following error-messages:

/var/log/warn:
Jul 30 11:02:39 XXX modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
block-major-8
Jul 30 11:02:39 XXX last message repeated 7 times
Jul 30 11:02:39 XXX modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
block-major-48
Jul 30 11:02:40 XXX last message repeated 7 times
Jul 30 11:02:40 XXX modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
block-major-72
Jul 30 11:02:40 XXX last message repeated 7 times

Has anybody made the same experiences?!?
What does it mean and how can I avoid this?!?
