wie geschrieben, ich habe die Hardware schon getauscht. Kann man einen neuen SuSE 8.0-Kernel als rpm irgendwo runterladen ?
Kann man, ja ! Wie siehts denn mit einem Online Update via YAST aus? Würde ich Dir empfehlen, wenn nicht schon geschehen.

Online-Update habe ich auch schon gemacht, wo kann ich denn einen neueren SuSE 8.0 > 2.4.18-Kernel runterladen ?
zum Beispiel unter ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/9.0/rpm/i586/k_deflt.rpm Ist zwar der Default Kernel für die 9.0 und ich bin mir nicht sicher ob es da zu Problemen mit Abhängigkeiten kommt, ist aber ne Möglichkeit. Ansonsten unter ftp://ftp.suse.com/poeple/mantel/next Gruß Alex Hubert
