Hallo, ich will Netscape ein zweites Mal unter einem anderen User "teddy" starten. teddy ist normaler user auf meiner Kiste. Wenn ich von user gerlach in den user teddy wechsele und ein export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0 /opt/netscape622/netscape sowie als user gerlach natürlich noch ein xhost +localhost dann fährt NN622 auch ordentlich hoch. Wie aber automatisiere ich das von user gerlach aus? Ich will das ganze dann hinter ein icon legen. thx Ekkard

Einfach als Skript: echo "export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0 /opt/netscape622/netscape" > ~/bin/teddynetscape.sh chmod 700 ~/bin/teddynetscape.sh Dann kannst Du teddynetscape.sh starten
Ich will das ganze dann hinter ein icon legen.

Oder: ssh -X teddy@localhost -c netscape Dann kannst Du Dir das auch mit der Displyvariable usw. sparen. Wenn Du dann noch Deinen sshkey bei Teddy hinterlegst mußt Du nicht mal ein PW eingeben.
