Hallo zusammen, gibt es unter Linux (und speziell unter OpenSuSE 11) ein Programm, mit dem man Daten für die Druckerei erstellen kann? Ich hatte gerade etwas Ärger mit PDF-Dateien, die ich aus OpenOffice 3.0 heraus exportiert habe. Falsche PDF-Version, keine CYMK, keine in Pfade umgewandelte Schriften usw. Unter Windows und Mac ist wohl PhotoShop die erste Wahl. Gibt es eine Alternative unter Linux, wenn ich Flyer, Plakate und Visitenkarten erstellen möchte? Vielleicht ist Scribus die Antwort? Das kann doch CMYK und PDF/X-3, Schriften in Pfade weiß ich jetzt nicht. Für diesen Zweck nutze ich Scribus und hatte bislang keine Beschwerden seitens der Druckerei. Am besten ist es, die Druckerei vorher nach ihren Wünschen zu fragen.

Scribus kann Schriften einbetten oder wahlweise in Kurven (Pfade) umwandeln, Farbprofile nutzen und einbetten, das Dokument in verschiedene PDF-Versionen exportieren etc.

Für das Erstellen graphischer Elemente bietet sich Inkscape an. Nach dem Erstellen der Graphik exportiere ich diese als .png und importiere sie anschließend in Scribus. Für kleinere Sachen wie Flyer, VIsitenkarten usw. nutze ich meistens nur Inkscape weil Scribus mir dafür schlicht zu mächtig ist.
