Hallo zusammen, bei dem Versuch, unter OS 10.3 XEN virtuelle Maschinen mit direktem PCI-Zugriff zu installieren bin ich auf ein Problem gestoßen. Ich muss meine drei NICs (Realtek8139, 3Com 3C59x, Intel pro 100/S) den Treibern entziehen und an den pciback-Treiber binden. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, sind die NIC-Treiber nicht fest im Kernel einprogrammiert sondern werden als Module geladen. Folglich kann ich das "Umbinden" nicht per Kerneloption in Grub erledigen. Stattdessen habe ich ein kleines Script geschrieben, das die NICs den Treibern entzieht und an den PCIBack-Treiber bindet. Ich möchte das beim Booten des XEN-Kernels erledigt wissen. Daniel Bauer (siehe Thread "OS 10.3 unter XEN - 2 Probleme") hat mich darauf hingewiesen, dass das nach dem Aufruf des XEND passieren muss. In welchem Verzeichnis ist es sinnvoll, mein Script abzulegen? Wie, also in welcher Datei und mit welchem Befehl muss der Aufruf erfolgen, damit das Umbinden der NICs richtig erfolgt und ich sie dann z. B. in der domU für den IPCop zur Verfügung habe? Die domU-Konfigurationsdatei für den IPCop habe ich entsprechend angepasst. Dort tauchen allerdings die NICs nicht auf, soll heißen, beim Scannen nach verwendbaren NICs findet das Setup des IPCop keine Karte. Hat jemand eine Idee? Ich muss gestehen, dass ich den Bootprozess noch nicht vollständig durchschaut habe.
