Hallo Liste, ich versuche schon seit einiger Zeit postfix zum Laufen zu bringen. Postfix soll für den lokalen Mailversand zuständig seit. Hierbei klappt auch alles gut. Nur wenn eine Mail über SMTP versendet werden soll treten Fehler auf. Verschickt wir über sendmail -q und zuvor über fetchmail die Post geholt. Die eingehende Post kommt auch an nur die lokale Mailwarteschlange bleibt unverändert. Einstellungen in main.cf von postfix: myorigin = $myhostname mydomain = name.de myhostname = linux.name.de defer_transports = smtp default_transport = hold relayhost = smtp.web.de Ich denke, dass die Einstellungen der Datei transport.db nicht richtig sind. --snip-- @linux.kg-stahl.de local: * smtp: --snip-- Ich habe zwischenzeitlich so viel ausprobiert: Wenn ich "* smtp:" mit in die Datei aufnehme klappt der lokale Versand nicht, der Versand über smtp jedoch auch icht, ist "#* smtp:" entfernt geht der lokale PostVersand. Habe auch mit der Datei /etc/postfix/sender_canonical bzw. /etc/postfix/canonical rumprobiert ... bisher jedoch ohne Erfolg. Nochmals: Postfix soll den lokalen Mailversand erledigen (online und offline) und den Mailversand ins Internet soll er zurückhalten bis eine Internetverbindung erstellt wurde, bzw. wenn der Rechner online ist soll postfix sofort ins Internet verschicken. Der Versand ins internet get über sendmail, geholt wird die Mail über fetchmail. Google hat viele Tipps gebracht, jedoch die richtigen waren bis jetzt noch nicht darunter. mit der alten Suse 7.2 und sendmail als Server anstatt postfix war dies jedoch möglich. Hat web.de an ihren Einstellungen etwas geändert ? Liebe Grüße Jürgen

Nicht so pauschal - wenn man SMTP Auth (oder POP before SMTP) nutzt, darf man auch Mails verschicken. Natürlich nur mit seiner eigenen Absenderadresse ;-)

Dann ist die Telekom mal wieder viel zu teuer ;-) Bestell Dir eine eigene Domain für 0,29 €/Monat, da ist üblicherweise auch eine Mailadresse und die Nutzung des SMTP-Servers inclusive. Sprich: Deutlich mehr Leistung für deutlich weniger Geld. SMTP-Auth braucht man dabei aber trotzdem ;-)

Die Ausgabe von postconf -n sowie ein (passender) Auszug aus /var/log/mail wären ganz nützlich. Fast jeden Monat kommt einer an und stöhnt über das Problem, dass diese alten Server, wie postfix und sendmail, die eigentlich für etwas ganz anderes gemacht sind, mit der Relay Funktionalität haben, die sie nicht wirklich beherrschen, sondern sie packen das Protokoll mit Authenisierungshosts wenn überhaupt dann nur über Zusatzmoduln und umständliche Konfigurationen, und dann auch nicht unbedingt immer und in jedem Fall. Hallo Installiere Sasl und Cyrus IMAP und NAMED dann richte Dein System so ein dass es die Mail direkt an den Server übergibt. wenn Du an sss@gmx.de eine Mail sendest dann ist Dein Relay gmx.de, wenn die Mail an ddd@we.de geht ist Dein Relay web.de und so weiter.
