Cyrus IMAP-Server 2.0.11
Hallo, hab' ein kleines Problem mit dem Cyrus IMAP-Server 2.0.11: immer wenn ich beim Booten den Serverprozess mittels einem selbstgebasteltem Bootskript (mittels startproc /usr/cyrus/bin/master) starten lasse, kann ich mich zunächst nicht beim Server einloggen. Erst wenn ich einen restart einleite (mittels killproc und anschliessendem Neustart des master-Prozesses) lässt der Server eine Authentifizierung zu. pstree zeigt mir, dass der Server nach dem Booten geladen ist, und wenn ich den Server-Prozess über den inetd initialisieren lasse, so beobachte ich denselben Effekt. Der Cyrus-Imap Server authentifiziert meine User über /etc/shadow (is nur ein kleiner Workgroup-Server), sodass ich Probleme mit SASL ausschliessen kann. Hat jemand einen Tipp ???? Gruss Bernd

Guten Morgen der cyrus hat keinen Zugriff auf die /etc/shadow. Wenn du dem cyrus user Leserechte gibts geht es. Das ist aber nicht Sin und Zweck. Früher hat es das tool pwcheck gegeben das hat die shadow abgefragt ( suid wrapper) Ich verwende die SASL Serie sec cyrus-sasl. In der imapd.conf statt pam sasldb eintragen, und mit saslpasswd -c $user legst du die user dann an. Grüße Torsten
