Hallo! eit dem ich SuSE 6.0 hier installiert habe, ist meine Swap-Partition plötzlich immer mit ca. 20-30 MB gefüllt... Ich habe nichts anderes installiert als vorher bei der 5.3 - und da lagerte Linux (wenn überhaupt mal) ein paar Kilobyte bis 2 MB aus... Einzige Änderung: Ich benutze zur Zeit KDE - sollte es daran liegen? Ist KDE soooo Speicherhungrig? Wie kann ich feststellen, welches Programm/Prozess soviel Speicher braucht und die Auslagerung veranlaßt... Mein Rechner: AMD K6 233 MHz, 64 MB RAM
Diesen Speicherhunger kann ich nachvollziehen .. Bei mir sind es sogar 55-60MB .. jederzeit reproduzierbar . Ich benutze fvwm2 und ich denke nicht das es am windowsmanager liegt, oder am xserver ... auf einem anderen Rechner mit 5.3 und 48MB sind es im _höchstfall_ 20-24MB gewesen .. Dietmar . P.S. Ich arbeite jetzt wieder mit fvwm2 - da ist meine Swap-Anzeige fast wieder normal... ich glaube ich schreibe den KDE-Entwicklern mal, das sie sich, bevor sie sich irgendwelchen neuen Features widmen, erstmal um den Speicherverbrauch kümmern... :(
