Das klappt aber leider nicht. Das Teil will das Paket aaa_base nicht installieren. Der Fehler liest sich so:
Invalid: PREIN for /var/adm/mount/suse/a1/aaa_base.rpm Missing definition og gzipbin in rc files
Das wars dann.
Hm. Ohne aaa_base hat das ganze nat|rlich keinen Sinn. Achja - Meine Platte habe ich nach einem vergeblichen Update-Versuch dann lieber auch Platt gemacht und habe so eine vollstdndige Neuinstallation gestartet. Bei beiden "Versuchen" kam der gleiche Fehler.
Vielleicht liegt das an linuxrc - meines ist schlie_lich steinalt? Ich wei_ es nicht. Ein monolithischer SCSI-Kernel usw. lduft auch nicht?!
ICh bin ein wenig ratlos.

Hallo Sven, Ich habe auch einen Adaptec 2940 SCSI Controller. Bei mir lauft komischer weisse alles wie geschmiert. Ich benuetze aber wahrscheinlich einen neueren BIOS. Mit freundlichen Gruessen Andreas Kersche
