Hallo Liste! Ich möchte demnächst einen von meinen beiden Rechnern als Router verwenden. Mein Problem: Unter der Woche wähle ich mich über Arcor bzw. Freenet ins Internet. Je nach Uhrzeit. Sonntags verwende ich dank XXL nur Arcor. Wie mache ich das, das der Router weiss, zu welcher Uhrzeit/ an welchem Tag, er sich über welchen Provider einwählen soll? Darüberhinaus soll er ja ggf. keine Downloads abbrechen, wenn die Zeit für einen anderen Provider gekommen ist. Wie kann ich das realisieren? Gruss, Jürgen

Die Daten für den Zugang stehen in irgendwelchen Config-Dateien. Welchen Zugang er nutzen soll, dürfte sogar genau in einer Datei stehen! Also kannst Du zwei Config-Dateien machen - eine für jeden Provider. Per Crontab kopierst Du dann immer die entsprechende Datei an die richtige Stelle und gut ist! Da die Config-Datei nur bei der Anwahl interessiert, kannst Du diesen Copy-Job jederzeit durchführen - auch mitten in einer Online-Sitzung. Das nur als ein Vorschlag von meiner Seite aus, wie ich es ohne viel zu lesen machen würde. Besser wäre natürlich, wenn man beide Provider configuriert und ihn dann die Routen umsetzen lässt. Aber da hast Du dann wirklich den Sonderfall, wenn Du gerade online bist. Da muss man für meinen Geschmack erst einmal zu viel nachdenken :-)) (Ich bin faul - sonst wäre ich ja nicht am Computer! Hallo Konrad, ich denke, es wird nicht moeglich sein, einen angefangenen Download ueber einen anderen Provider fortzufuehren, also bleibt nur der Wechsel der Config-Dateien und mit entsprechend kurzem Timeout dann der Wechsel zum anderen Provider. rainer

Wenn Du auf das (schon erwähnte) Gebastel mit cron & Co. verzichten willst, dann wäre vielleicht fli4l das richtige für Dich, siehe http://www.fli4l.de - Du hast doch ISDN? fli4l ist ein Mini-Linux, welches in der Minimalausstattung auf einer Diskette Platz findet. Du kannst für die ISDN-Einwahl u... verschiedene "Circuits" definieren, so daß der Router auch als Least Cost Router fungiert.
