Hallo Leute! Ich habe das Problem, daß ich an einem Rechner nicht die Devices fest in den Kernel mit eingebunden bekomme, die ich für das System brauche! (ES1370, AIC7xxx, Ne2K-PCI). Wenn ich SuSE von CD aus starte, und die Module manuell einbinde, dann das installierte System boote und den Kernel neu einrichte lädt Suse automatisch die beim starten geladenen Module mit in den Kernel. Wie funktioniert das? Die Distri kompiliert doch den Kernel nicht für die Module neu! Wir verwenden eine 'initial ramdisk', kurz initrd. Schau mal in unserer SDB nach, Stichwort "initrd". Ein Artikel ist schon da, und ein weiterer wird im laufe dieses Tages sichtbar werden.
