kein Internet nach update
Liebe Leute, ich brauche jetzt Eure Hilfe, bin mit meinem Latein am Ende... Gestern habe ich einen PC im Heimnetz auf OS 15.6 gehoben (repo URLs geändert, zypper clean, zypper ref, zypper dup) Das update lief ohne erkennbare Fehler durch. Der Neustart danach ebenfalls ohne erkennbare Fehler. Allerdings keine Verbindung mehr zum Internet. Die Rechner im Intranet sind hingegen alle erreichbar. So weit ich mich jetzt erinnere kümmert sich Laut YAST wicked ums Netz. Das Ergebnis von ls und den 3 cat kann ich erst posten wenn ich wieder bei dem betroffenen Rechner bin (heute später in der Nacht oder morgen Vormittag...) Danke & Grüße Norbert

Du hast recht! Habe mir die man page von nsswitch.conf jetzt durchgelesen. Ich würde es so interpretieren, dass die services von links nach rechts abgearbeitet wird. "The order of the services on the line determines the order in which those services will be queried" So wie es hier steht ist das 1. service leer und verursacht die Aktion "return", und da noch nichts gesucht wurde, natürlich ohne Ergebnis. So würde ich das verstehen. Wenn ich heute Nacht nach Hause komme werde ich es sofort probieren und natürlich das Ergebnis hier posten.. Grüße Norbert

Ich habe das file nsswitch.conf noch nie editiert. Wusste bis heute weder dass es dieses file gibt, noch welche Funktion es hat...

Hallo Ulf, das war's ! Habe im nsswitch.conf die Zeile geändert. Von "[NOTFOUND=return] files mdns_minimal dns" auf "files mdns_minimal [NOTFOUND=return] dns" abgespeichert, und schon funktioniert alles wieder! Wieso die Zeile mit falschem Aufbau in dem file war - keine Ahnung ... Wie gesagt, habe dieses file noch nie editiert... Jedenfalls Danke! Norbert
