Hallo, besteht die Möglichkeit dem LILO Bootparameter mitzugeben? Mein Problem: Nach der Installation startet der Xserver bzw. kdm nichtmehr. Ich komme aber auch nicht in eine Textkonsole rein um die Einstellungen zu ändern. Kann mann LILO beim Strarten Parameter mitgeben, so dass er den runlevel ändert? Hi Patrick du kannst LILO zum Beispiel angeben Linux S (wenn dein LILO Eintrag Linux heisst), damit es im Single User Mode startet. Du kannst mit append="parameter" dem Kernel etwas mit- teilen.
Das passiert dann aber immer und braucht vor allem ein laufendes System, dem man einen lilo-Aufruf abverlangen kann. Du willst sicher NACH dem Imagenamen am LILO-Prompt was mitgeben, z.B. "single". Wenn Dein Label für Linux "lin" wäre (Beispiel), dann schreibe am Bootprompt: LILO: lin single Dann wird im Singlemodus gestartet und das root-Passwort abgefragt. root kann dann diverse Änderungen vornehmen.
