Hallo Sebastian und alle aus der Liste, ich habe jetzt alles genau nach Anweisung gemacht und jetzt geht weder das CDRom noch der CD-Brenner. Wenn ich versuche, den Brenner zu mounten, sagt er mir "umount:/dev/cdrecorder: unbekanntes Gerät" und wenn ich versuche, das CDRom zu mounten sag er "/dev/cdrom: Eingabe-/Ausgabefehler mount: Der Dateisystemtyp konnte nicht festgestellt werden und es wurde keiner angegeben"! Bei mir sieht jetzt alles so aus, wie es beschrieben wurde, aber es funktioniert nicht! Eine Idee? Hast du einen neuen Kernel kompiliert? Es klingt nämlich so als hättest Du die ISO9660 Unterstützung nicht geladen. AFAIK ist /dev/cdrecorder ein Link. Vielleicht mußt Du ihn noch anlegen. Ich wollte die ganze sache wieder in den Urzustant versetzen, aber jetzt habe ich immernoch die selben Probleme! das ist kein Wunder, denn die haben jetzt andere Device-Links. Wenn z.B. Du weißt schon, dass die Syntax des Befehls zum mounten mount /dev/cdrecorder (und auch nur, falls so in der /etc/fstab eingetragen) lautet und nicht umount:.... (mit umount werden Devices wieder ausgehängt und ein : hat da nix drin zu suchen).

nochmal eine Kurzzusammenfassung dessen, was Du getan haben solltest: 1. In /etc/lilo.conf sollte eine Zeile stehen, die in etwa so aussieht: append="hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi" und Du musst danach /sbin/lilo ausgeführt haben um den Lilo neu in den mbr zu schreiben. 2. Am Ende Deiner /etc/init.d/boot.local muss eine Zeile eingefügt werden, die so aussieht: /sbin/modprobe ide-scsi 3. Du musst die Links auf die Devices korrigieren. 4. System neu starten. Hallo Philipp, vielen dank für Deine Hilfe! Ich habe jetzt alles nochmal gemacht und jetzt kann ich wenigstens vom CDR lesen! Das einzige, was ich vorher nicht gemacht habe war den befehl /sbin/lilo auszuführen! Sollte das nicht Yast2 automatisch machen? Aber dennoch bekomme ich immer die Meldung "Konnte CD Recorder nicht starten" wenn ich was Brennen will! Hättest Du da vieleicht noch einen heissen Tip? Vielen dank für Deine mühe!!! Keine Ahnung, ob Yast2 das macht. Das ist ja das Problem: Du weißt nie, was so ein GUI macht, daher mach ich sowas lieber per Hand, das macht viel glücklicher *g*.

Einen? Mehrere: 1. Welches Programm willst Du denn benutzen? 2. Probier mal, was passiert, wenn Du das Programm statt mit "Programmname" mit "kdesu Programmname" aufrufst. 3. Probier mal xcdroast (evtl. neueste Version herunterladen) und werde damit glücklich. 4. Probier mal Konsolen-Brennprogramme, lerne viel Syntax aber werde noch viel glücklicher *g*.
