Re: ulkige Zeichen im MC SuSE 6.0
Hi Wilfried, danke fuer den Tip, aber ich meinte nicht die Darstellung der Dateinamen, sondern das Gesamtbild von mc, sieht doch bei der SuSE 6.0 etwas ulkig aus ;-) Ich meine die invers Dargestellten Zeichen im Rahmen, das muesste was mit ncurses bzw der console-Umgebungsvariablen zu tun haben oder sind die Fonts nicht mehr konform zu mc? In der Supportdatenbank habe ich dazu nichrts gefunden. hat es denn noch niemand gemerkt, im mc der mit der SuSE 6.0 gekommen ist tauchen eine Menge Zeichen auf (eineige davon invers dargestellt), die da offensichtlich nicht hingehoeren. Was kann man dagegen tun bzw. was wurde uebersehen?

Hallo Lutz, Kann es sein das Du einen nicht Lateinischen Zeichensatz für die Konsole gewählt hast? Wie sieht yast aus? Auch so komisch? Dann wird es so sein. Mit yast kannst Du die Konsolenfonts einstellen. Da gibt es alles mögliche. zB. auch amharische (äthiopische) Fonts. Die haben mehr Buchstaben, und belegen die Zeichen die sonst für Linien benutzt werden für ihre Buchstaben ode Sonderzeichen. BTW: Weiß zufälligerweise jemannd ob ich irgendwo auch äthiopische Fonts für X und TeX herbekomme und eine äthiopische Tastaturbelegung? Nein, ich kann kein Amharisch, aber ein Freund von mir. Vielleicht will der auch mal Linux machen. Im Zweifelsfall immer vom DANTE-Archiv oder CTAN. Und Kbd-Layouts (fuer X und die Konsole) kann man sich beliebig basteln. Haben die Leute lokale Newsgroups oder Listen, die man fragen kann ? Gibt's lt Linux-Counter User in Aegpten ?
