www.php3.org dort holst du dir die neuesten sourcen, und liest dir das INSTALL/README durch. klappte bisher bei allen kunden-installationen wunderbar... bei SuSE könnte es sein, das dies schon mit einkompiliert im Apache ist, dann musst du nur schauen, ob das in der httpd.conf auch freigegeben ist (libs/shared-objects (so)).
