Hallo ihr lieben,
bastle -neben meinem Problem mit der USB-Platte-noch an einem weiteren Problem
rum und denke, dass ich hier jetzt auch Hilfe brauche:
Das Problem betrifft den VLC-Player:
Wenn ich einen Film-egal ob von Festplatte oder als Stream-darin abspielen
möchte, läuft der bis zu einer bestimmten Stelle -aber nie länger als 3
Minuten. Dann nämlich bleibt das Bild plötzlich stehen und nur der Ton läuft
weiter. Aber irgendwann ist der auch weg und ich starre buchstäblich "in die
Röhre". Während das Bild noch läuft, hat der Ton übrigens auch schon minimale
Drop-Outs.
Dieses Verhalten fiel mir das erste Mal so richtig auf, als ich die Mediathek
des ZDF benutzen wollte. Die läuft ja auch mit dem VLC-Plugin für Firefox.
Meine ersten Vermutungen gehen in die Richtung des Treibers (X-Video).
Vermutlich ist da irgendwas falsch konfiguriert; Leider finde ich in Google
nur sehr wenig/nichts passendes über dieses Thema.
Gehe ich mit meiner Vermutung richtig und was könnte ich ausprobieren, damit
ich VLC richtig zum Laufen bringe?
An meiner Hardware liegt es definitv nicht, denn mit Kaffeine kann ich Filme
ohne Probleme abspielen...

-dnh, der heute auch openssh mal ohne den audit/selinux/opensc Krams
gebacken hat. Wieso gibt's bei Abhängigkeiten auf
HW-Treiber(-libs) eigentlich so selten eine Plugin-Architektur?
Nur weil z.B. ssh z.B. via opensc auf einen Kartenleser oder ein
Grafikprogram über irgendwelche Libs auf irgendwelche Kameras
zugreifen kann will ich mir das ganze Gedöns doch nicht
installieren.
Dito: $alles_mögliche verlangt libsmb*. Hier ist weit und breit
weder ein Windows noch ein Samba. Was soll das Zeug also auf
meiner Platte?

Wenn die ZDF-Seite trotz installiertem VLC-Plugin nicht funktioniert, ist der
erste Weg immer, die Cookies und den Verlauf des Browsers zu löschen.
Die Mediathek hat die Eigenart wenn mal was nicht funktioniert wie es soll,
das in den Browser zu zimmern.
Dieser Workaround hat schon in mindestens 60 Fällen geholfen.

Eher nicht. Das liegt eher an irgendwas bei VLC, das Problem hatte ich
auch bei lokalen Files bzw. DVDs/-Images.

vlc selber spielt beides ab, ZDF z.B. die URLs
http://wstreaming.zdf.de/zdf/veryhigh/080213_tagebuch_dkk.asx
Das VLC-Plugin spield bei mir gar nicht. Da hab ich aber nicht drauf
geachtet, wie das kompiliert wird, da müßte ich evtl. nochmal ran. Und
ich sehe auch keine Netztraffic, wenn das Plugin eigentlich die Daten
holen sollte. Im xterm, aus dem firefox gestartet wurde findet sich
auch, daß das Plugin weitere Plugins (/usr/lib/vlc/access/libaccess_*)
nicht laden kann.
Ah! Gefunden! Das Plugin lädt (bei mir!) libvlccore nicht und den
access-plugins fehlen dann Symbole. Wenn ich FF per:
'LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libvlccore.so.1.0.0 firefox' starte läuft das
Video. Allerdings gibt's dann immer noch Probleme, das Video bleibt
komplett stehen -- zumindest wenn die Bandbreite nicht hoch genug für
das Video ist, wenn die Daten nicht schnell genug kommen verklemmt
sich das Plugin wohl irgendwie... Stoppe ich den parallelen DL läuft
das Video durch ;)
Starte den Browser mal aus nem xterm und achte darauf, ob im xterm
dann gelbe Meldungen mit
cannot load module `/usr/lib/vlc/access/libaccess_http_plugin.so'
(...: undefined symbol: __intf_UserLoginPassword)
vorkommen.
Und probiere mal, ob vlc (ohne Browser) selber die Streams abspielt.

Hab ich gemacht-hier die Ausgabe aus der Konsole: (vorsicht-nicht erschlagen
lsssen-ist viel):

Selbes Verhalten wie im firefox, Stream fährt an, läuft im Idealfall 3 Minuten
und bleibt dann stehen-Ton bricht auch irgendwann weg.
Auffällig ist, dass alle beiden Streams wmv-kodiert sind...

paar Sachen. Die 1.0 beta-Version brachte leider nicht den erhofften
Erfolg; Ich
vermute inzwischen eher ein Codec-Probem-vor allem mit wmv-codecs, die
sich ja zB. die Mediathek des ZDF bedient.
Eher nicht. Das liegt eher an irgendwas bei VLC, das Problem hatte ich
auch bei lokalen Files bzw. DVDs/-Images. > Ah! Gefunden! Das Plugin lädt (bei mir!)
libvlccore nicht und den

Und hier bekommt vlc keine Verbindung. Hast du das Packman-rpm
getestet? Das VLC-rpm scheint jedenfalls im Moment "broken". Und
ggfs. maile ich dir mein .spec, dann kannst du's mal selber backen.

Firefox stürzt-nachdem das Video abbricht-auch komplett ab, weswegen ich dann

Da sollte noch ein 'http://' mit rein... Aber wie du siehst, kommen
nicht diese Meldungen mit 'undefined symbol'.

Und hier bekommt vlc keine Verbindung. Hast du das Packman-rpm
getestet? Das VLC-rpm scheint jedenfalls im Moment "broken". Und
ggfs. maile ich dir mein .spec, dann kannst du's mal selber backen.
Das rpm ist
nicht von Packman; sondern aus dem Repo von VLC direkt. Packman
bietet die 1.0. Beta nicht an; nur die aktuelle stable 0.9.8a. Von der 1.0
beta gibts zwar n Update (was ich bei der Quellenüberprüfung entdeckt habe);
habs auch aktualiesiert, trotzdem half auch das nicht.
Das mit dem .spec wäre super-vielleicht kannst du mir auch dein gebackenes rpm
testweise dazu geben; vielleicht haben dein und mein Rechner den selben
Geschmack... :-)

Ja, aber ich habe heute das neuste Update vom vlc beta
draufgemacht und nun
funktioniert gar nichts mehr (siehe http://pastebin.com/m28ac793e). Sowohl
wenn ich das Plugin vorladen lasse, wie auch wenn ich das nicht mache und nur
firefox ohne irgendwelche optionen als xterm starte.
