Guter Tipp. Da ich mir Mozilla aber erst vor ein paar Tagen vom Hersteller selbst geholt habe (gab halt kein nettes SuSE-rpm und dann ein paar Unbequemlichkeiten beim Aufruf), wollte ich eigentlich nicht schon wieder downloaden, hab's aber dann doch getan. Leider habe ich jetzt wieder andere Probleme: Das Teil findet /usr/lib/jdk1.3/jre/bin/libjavaplugin_oji.so nicht. Ich bin ein wenig verwirrt, die andere »Version« Mozilla hat dieses Problem nicht. Mein Mozilla spricht deutsch mit mir, der von SuSE besteht auf Englisch. Ich bin ein wenig verwirrt. Und wenn wir schon bei Mozilla sind, gibt es auch Versionen, die den Einfachklick verstehen? Oder kann man irgendwo dran drehen, daß Mozilla auf den Einfachklick reagiert (ich hasse den Doppelklick!). Irgendwas war da ich weiß nur nich mehr was. Das einzige was ich grad sehe ist das ich nen symlink hab ls -ld /usr/lib/jdk1.3/jre/jre lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1 Dez 7 19:43 /usr/lib/jdk1.3/jre/jre -> . frag mich nicht warum. es ist zu spät :)

Also tapfer das Zeugs ausgetauscht, denn das jdk1.3.1 hatte auch die vermisste libjavaplugin_oji.so intus. Noch ein bißchen an den Links gedreht und schon läuft java. Allerdings fällt Konqui nun beim Browsercheck negativ auf. Der kann's ganz offensichtlich nicht mit dem Blackdown-Java. Also muß ich wohl beide Javas behalten.

Gemeint ist, wenn man Mozilla als Dateibrowser mißbraucht (kommt halt doch mal vor), da wünscht er immer einen Doppelklick, auch wenn die Datei dick die Endung html hat. Lästig. Beim Applet-Laden tut sich einfach nichts, sprich, der Kasten bleibt grau, während mit dem jdk1.3.1 ein blaues Gimmick geladen und angezeigt wird. Beim gleichen KDE2.2.2 für mein SuSE 6.4 kamen diese Teile dann immer in eigenen Fensterchen, die sich nicht schließen ließen. Dazu mußte man erst die Konqui-instanz beenden, die sie geladen hatte. Kurzer Tip: Besorg dir java1.4, damit läuft eigentlich alles prima mit mozilla0.9.8 und 0.9.9. Nach der Installation von java noch einen Link gelegt, sieht bei mir so aus: /opt/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so -> /usr/lib/j2re1.4.0/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji140.so Und schon scheint die Sonne:-) -- mfg Peter Küchler, Planungsverband Ballungsraum Frankfurt/Rhein-Main

hatte lange das gleiche Problem (SuSE 7.2), egal welcher Browser, versuch's mal in der /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers mit: :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 vt07 -dpi 100 ^^^^^^^ Seitdem hab' ich AA wieder deaktiviert und unter KDE die Standard-Schriften durch die von Adobe ersetzt und bin glücklich. ;) Info: http://www.openoffice.de/linux/buch/x11schriften.html cu Stefan
